Austrian archeologists have discovered the ruins of a colossal amphitheater in Carnuntum, at a distance of 60 kilometers east of Vienna, a place where Roman gladiators used to train. The structure rivals that of the famous Colosseum (largest amphitheater ever built in the Roman Empire) and the Ludus Magnus gladiator school in Rome.
