Periyar National Park and Wildlife Sanctuary in the south Indian state of Kerala, is one of the most famous parks, and probably the most popular in the country. Located in the Cardommom and Panadalam Hills of the Western Ghats, the park is a celebrated tiger and elephant reserve.
